We just bought two new things, an iPad for Dad, and a used car for our vacation starting in Auckland and ending in the South Island of New Zealand. Dad was trying to work out how to mount the iPad in the car for the trip, he wants to use Googe maps while we are travelling, so I showed him this video I found and he has decided to do it! To attach the iPad to the car with velcro!!! Funny dad

I’m writing an essay and I need some help determining how the apple iPad tablet helps the economy while stimulating businesses and informing people?

I found a site that gave me a few ideas, it seems there are a lot of iPad accessories being manufactured and that this will indeed help stimulate the economy. Also iPad applications or “apps” are probably also helping a lot. With companies all over the place developing things for the iPad I think this will definitely help the economy.

An interesting thing I noted  is that both large companies and smaller “cottage industry” type businesses are competing in the market. Of course all the usual big companies are getting in on the act, however a great example I found of a smaller company doing well is Temple Bags who appear to be a one man design studio producing boutique leather iPad cases from a studio in San Francisco. They have also produced a number of cool videos to promote their business on the internet.

This is just one example of marketplace activity, but there are many others that stem from the Apple iPad that I will discuss in my essay.

I think the iPad is the perfect size for the space in my car. Wondering if I can use it or if I could get an iPad accessory to mount it in the car?

Other than the larger size in the iPad, the reading feature, the keyboard docking and camera connecting feature, the 3G, and the microphone, are there any other benefits of the ipad over the ipod touch?

Also, how much is the monthly fee for the 3G network on the iPad? And where can I get information on the best iPad apps and accessories? I’m writing an essay on the iPad soon and how it benefits the economy so I need more info.

I’ve looked around and I think from looking at a few sites that iPad accessories are probably a major contributor to the economy – there are a lot of them and they are made by many different companies. I’ll write more on this soon.

I just bought a new iPod nano 5th Generation. I want to transfer around 500 songs off my old iPod and put them on the new iPod nano. Is there anyway I can do this? I also need to get a great iPod nano case and thought the iSkin ones looked pretty cool – what do you think?

On my hard ipod nano case (3rd generation) and my sisters pink nano silicon skin, there are two holes right next to each other on the back side, near the bottom of the skin/case. What are the holes for?
